According to the sources, now, we might finally get a dislike feature, not on Facebook posts but on messenger instead. Facebook is lately testing a feature that would let its users post reactions to private messages just how we used to hover over the like button to choose a reaction on any Facebook post. Messenger includes all those reactions, and a thumbs up and thumbs down i.e dislike. (Yayyyy!!)
However according to Facebook, thumbs down is more a "no" than a dislike, since Messenger is mostly used to coordinate plans and answer other questions with a quick yes or no.
"We’re always testing ways to make Messenger more fun and engaging. This is a small test where we enable people to share an emoji that best represents their feelings on a message." Facebook said in a statement to TechCrunch.
So all you guys, get ready to troll your friends by disliking all their messages. I wish they will soon add a thumbs down to Facebook posts as well.
