But it is true!!
Initially, Facebook introduced its Stories feature in Ireland in January 2017 but now it is rolling out in more countries too i.e Chile, Greece and Vietnam.
It looks like Facebook is trying literally everything to beat Snapchat. Facebook's story is just as same as Snapchat's story. From adding the in app camera to the stories horizontal layout above the News Feed. Facebook has also added a separate section to send snap directly to someone through "Direct" for which the Messenger shortcut has moved to the bottom center of the screen. It also features Snapchat's style filters with the camera in News Feed.
Comparing Snapchat's and Instagram's private group, Facebook and Messenger lack the confidentiality required for a feature that updates everyone about one's life routine. Instagram Stories were introduced last year and succeeded big time. It reached 150 million daily users.
Many people are not accepting Facebook’s Snap-cloning in WhatsApp and Messenger app and are taking it as violation of privacy and intimacy.
All we can do now is to wait and see where it goes.
