Today I am here to summarize the mega event, MWC 2017. The event started on 27th February and it will end on 2nd March, 2017.  Mobile World Congress is the world’s biggest event for the mobile industry, organised by the GSMA and held in the Mobile World Capital Barcelona. The gigantic tech show is a chance for new gadgets to be unveiled. As the event is currently happening it's high time to share you all with the latest launches, news and reports of the bizarre developments presented at MWC 17. This year, the event has been a mix of old and new i.e their were some latest technologies as well as few reboots.

While LG, Sony, Samsung and Motorola presented the latest in phone technology, Nokia decided to reintroduce its 3310 with a few upgrades to the device. Along with Nokia, BlackBerry too made its return to the market this year with the new KEYone handset. Below is the quickest review of all the happenings of MWC 2017.

Nokia 3310 Returns

Nokia has relaunched Nokia 3310 by HMD Global, a Finnish company constituting mostly former Nokia employees, that has acquired the rights to the Nokia brand, on Sunday at the Nokia MWC 2017 event in Barcelona, complete with a color screen, slightly thin body, Internet access, and Bluetooth. The Nokia 3310, the phone popular for its battery timing and strength, probably the first phone of us all 90's kids, has been reborn 17 years after it was first released. The new version is however different in functionality yet has original alike design, which was an icon of the early 2000's. It has a battery life of 30 days, and only basic internet access through a 2.5G connection. However, it has some extra features like a headphone jack and SD card slot for holding music and photos, a two-megapixel camera, and an FM radio. It has Snake game too with a little twist involve. The price of new 3310 is set to €49 (£41) on its release this year. It was surely first mobile to become a social s…

Moonlight and La La Land Confusion

The biggest Hollywood night, The 89th Academy Awards, happened to commend on 26th February 2017 at Los Angeles. With all the excitement and zest, the night passed by leaving behind some beautiful memories. However splendid the night was, still there happened an unavoidable mistake. Yes you guess it right, I am talking about the best picture award's confusion.  Presenters Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty mistakenly announced La La Land as the winner of the night's biggest award i.e The best picture's award, with cast and crew flooding the stage. Producer Jordan Horowitz delivered his acceptance speech, getting all into it, before the truth gradually spread through the group of people on the stage. (This is embarrassing!!) Horowitz corrected the mistake by announcing: "There's a mistake. Moonlight, you guys won best picture." On the shocked and surprised reaction from crowd, he repeated: "This is not a joke. Moonlight has won best picture."

Whatsapp Is Downloading Our Statuses

Okay guys, Here I am sharing with you all another annoying aspect of Whatsapp updated version. Yea, I am talking about Whatsapp stories. Believe it or not Whatsapp has literally lost its mind and it is downloading all your and your contacts statuses in your phone without letting you know.

That means, every picture, giphy or video you are uploading is being saved in phones of all of your contacts list and every story your contacts are uploading is being saved in yours.

And it is obviously not good for so many reasons. First it is taking useless space of our phones by downloading unnecessary data. Second It is exploiting your privacy by saving your data on your contacts' devices.

Probability is that your '.statuses' file is hidden. To view it, go your "Device storage" >> "Whatsapp". Then tap on vertical ellipses icon at the top and go to setting, check "Show hidden files" and here it is.

A lot of waste of space, right?!

Question that arise…

Whatsapp Bringing Back Old Statuses As Taglines

Okay guys, I am back with some amazing news about Whatsapp. As we all know about the new update of Whatsapp i.e Whatsapp stories and users reacting to it angrily and not liking the update. Facing all the backlash and user anger at the update, WhatsApp is reportedly bringing back the old Status feature that allowed users to set up a text message as their status in their users profiles. (YAYYYY!) However, this will be called Tagline now.
On Thursday WhatsApp had rolled out a new feature called Status resulting in addition of a tab to the app, where people can share their photos and videos and removed the old text based status feature that was part of user profile before.
However, A Twitter account Wabetainfo, that often leaks features from beta versions of the chat apps tweeted that in WhatsApp beta for iOS and for Windows Phone 2.17.82 the Tagline feature has been added, that will be similar as old Whatsapp status, although for now it is hidden. The feature is expected to make …
